Gr.7: Breaking the Uncertainties!
Various individuals with various perspectives may not generally concur with each other. My group cooperated in gathering thoughts and ideas from each other to make it into one. On the first half of the week, we were so confused in what to do first because some of my co-members and even me are a little bit confused about the instructions. We make sure that we can clarify our concerns so we asked our classmates and luckily they enlighten us with those things we needed to understand. We then formulated questions and talk about the steps we need to take to enable us to achieve our goals for this week. It’s hard to have a good communication since we’re just using facebook messenger as our medium for brainstorming.
We listed problems that we noticed as our hypothesis definition, problems amidst pandemic or even before to have innovation that is flexible and helpful. Most of the problems are the internet connection, grocery conveniency, mental health and a lot more. We consolidated and discuss the problems encountered by each one of us. To evaluate our hypothesis, we then approached individuals and ask questions. We are expecting that most of them will have different response in terms of the problems they are facing. We noticed that most of the respondents are struggling in terms of their buying conveniency specially those who live in barrios that are far from the city proper.
After collecting the data, we then had a meeting and discuss about the highest factor people facing in the new normal. 1. Stable Internet Connection 2. Buying Conveniency, after consolidating their response we come up to the decision of buying conveniency since these are rampant and a problem for most of us. We gave our personal insights for our team to have a good outcome. As part of the solution for the problem, we decided to have an app that includes the seller and buyers perspective. We also considered making a website or page but we realized that it is not profitable, app is the most flexible and profitable innovation we could imagine. The App composed of stores that are near in the location of the buyer and will be named “BUKSHOP” short for BUKIDNON SHOP. They can advance shopping and add to cart the things they want to buy so if they will be going out for shopping it will be less hassle for the buyer because they will just pick-up it in the physical store.
This week is kind of new for me because we only use social media platforms to brainstorm and talk about the things we need to accomplish as a group. Our leader ensured everybody was on target on what we needed to do. I additionally ensured individuals was alright and glad in the job they was playing in the gathering. In terms of our teamwork, I can say that my groupmates are active and is willing to share their thoughts and suggestions. Even if it is hard to brainstorm using facebook messenger but still we finish the task on the 1st week. That was a tough moment for us because we are under pressure on achieving this week’s task. By the grace of God we did have a proper meeting and we decided to make questions, afterwards we then find business owners and ask the questions we formulated. I was a little bit shocked about this week’s to-do-list but I have learned that good communication is the key in achieving goals.
